Story:
In the first round, found themselves down a pair of games but rallied back to eliminate with four straight wins. In the Conference semi-finals, the Bruins would match-up with the surprise team of the post-season who manhandled the in the first round. It was a struggling series which saw a 3-0 series lead evaporate as charged back and forced Game 7, with coming out on top with a 1-0 victory thanks to the domination of Rask when it mattered the most. In the Conference Finals, would find themselves pitted against the hardest team in the East, who just so happens to be his brother. This bitter rivalry saw much back and forth with complete domination of scoring at times, but ultimately another Game 7 would be required to settle the score. Once again, Rask would stand tall and open the door to his club securing a 3-1 victory and reach the Stanley Cup Finals.
The acquisition of Marc Staal and Ryan Parent turned into the most dynamic defensive duo in the Season 6 ManNHL playoffs. Near point-per game averages with a collective +11 has playing them nearly 24 minutes per game, more than anyone else on the team. This recipe has so far led to success and an appearance in the Stanley cup Finals.

Story:
In a season faced with controversy over a late-year discovery of salary cap issues, captain Ryan Getzlaf found himself to be the odd man out for the final 20 games of the regular season as well as the complete playoffs. With the GM facing personal issues, a leave of absence left the club in the hands of the league who now watch to see if their acquired team will earn it's first victory in ManNHL history (the Bruins have won before under different ownership). The first round seemed too easy for as they ran through in four games. The second round would see more difficulty in goaltender Jimmy Howard, but his efforts were not enough to help and a 6 game series was surrendered in dismal fashion. In the Conference Finals, many felt were the underdogs to the ever-dominant but with facing difficulties against and many wondered if Pekka Rinne was too tired to push the season any further than he already had. With limited production help from the offense, faltered in overtime in Game 7 in a play that watched Lubomir Visnovky go end to end to finish off the series. Now, faces their biggest test of the season as they battle for the Stanley Cup.
With the lack of arrival of stars Patrick Sharp, Bobby Ryan and Patrick Kane, will need to fire on all cylinders the rest of the way, but veteran Teemu Selanne has taken the bull by the horns and led this team thus far. Paul Kariya and Patrick O'Sullivan are back to finding their game and the dynamic duo of the Ducks of a decade ago are back at it for Stanley Cup glory.
