lol I love what the Flyers are doing, but Crosby haters are worse than anything they claim about Crosby. They are whinier than Crosby is. Nobody hates on Lindros anymore for refusing to play for Quebec, nobody hates on Gretzky for being one of the worst clutch and grab players the game has ever seen. Everyone hates on Crosby because of Ovechkin or because he's talented. Then people hate on him claiming he isn't talented. It's hilarious to me, but I get it. Crosby is a very damn good hockey player. Is he the best player in the world right now? Probably not, but the kid knows how to play hockey better than anyone I've seen as a Leaf since Gilmour, so as a Leaf fan, who the fuck am I to hate on anyone?!

Its a nice way to spark your team, but you have to do it yourself. One day he won't have Aaron Asham/Craig Adams to wipe his butt when he needs them too, and he's going to take a beating. And to be honest, the way he acted yesterday, I wouldnt feel bad at all, since he literally asked for it. |

The press are the biggest culprits in the hatred. They jam Crosby down people throats all year round. He and Tanger will always be my favorites. Thank You Sid and Tanger for standing up to the Stab and Run Flyers

He sure did. LOL. Crosby was great. He pummelled Giroux and stood up to Mr Chicken shit Scott Hartnell himself. He didn't need Adams to beat up Chicken Shit. What was he going to do, put him in a headlock. Hartnell is just another stab and run Flyer. They are all stab and run players. Glad Sid did what he and very happy with Letang. Now move hatter and get a life. The Penguins are lamost done for you. Must suck that the only thing the Press talks about is the Penguins and not any of the other sorry teams right now. But I guess and takes some of the attention away from some of the other teams brutal seasons.

@leafs. People DO still whine about Lindros, (i.e. you brought it up, meaning you, and many others, have not forgotten).
The Pens did just as good, if not better, when Crosby was out. So it's not really correct in ANY way to say or assume Crosby is even relevant to Pittsburgh Penguins. Until he moves to a shit team, or they strip Pittsburgh of their loaded base, he is always playing for the most talented team in the NHL. The Flyers have taken Pittsburgh out of their game and destroyed them. If Crosby was the superkid-leader he is supposed to be, he would have grabbed the team by the throat after game 2 and said "Guys, this is NOT our fucking game, let's do this thing right". Instead, what did he do? Go on TV and whine about this or that?

Loaded base. LOL That is too funny. Are you kidding me? There is no base. The Penguins success is all about the system. The only reason the series is where it is at is Fleury can't stop a beach ball. Again I don't know where he has whinned. The Questions come from the press. He answers the questions. Not his fault he has a mic in face everytime he turns around. But him saying he hates the Flyers is whinning? I don't get it. But as we know from many decades of hockey, hater will always hate the best players. You guys have fun with that, if that is gets you off.

It's crazy, cause the Penguins are averaging like four goals for per game, that SHOULD be enough, but this series is literally one system vs. another, and Crosby has been successful, Neal is kicking ass, but yeah, it's a physical, dirty series, I'm loving every minute of it. Where the fuck is Malkin? Expected more from him, but yeah, the Flyers came to play, and Fleury is getting lit up. I love both these teams. It's a shame they had to meet in the first round.
But Crosby is insanely talented. Best in the league? Right now, no, but there's about five or six players who are all in and around equal talent and I put Crosby in that list. I do not, however, include Ovechkin. The argument that Crosby only puts up points because he has a stacked team is ridiculous. If that was the case, Thornton and Marleau would be 100+ point players year in and year out. Same with Ovechkin.
I'm just happy to see some players that remind me of the 90s. And this series is absolutely 90s hockey. And holy shit Brayden Schenn is a beast.
Anyways yeah, I'll be cheering for the Flyers the rest of the way because any series they are involved in will definitely be entertaining to say the least. It's cool to see what they can do with a little better goaltender than they typically have in net. If he can reduce his GAA to under 4, they should be solid the rest of the way, that is unless they can't continue this 8 goals per game pace lmao.

The Flyers will be done in the next RD unless they somehow get Florida or NewJersey. But Flyers goaltending has been horrible also. Just not anywhere near as a bad as Fleury. Fleury is putting stuff in his net that woudn't have gone in if he hadn;t touched it. Just crazy. I think the players are more frustrted with him the Philly but unfortunatly nobody turns around and beats up there goalie. LOL

It has nothing to do with that, Malkin is better than Crosby, and he's unable to do anything in this series. 4 points is nothing when your team lets in 8 goals a game.

Every defenceman on the Pens sucks right now, the goaltender sucks and the forwards can't outscore their problems. This isn't me blowing Crosby, it's me saying the Pens are blowing it.
Flyers better hope this series ends in 4 games or they will be hurting going into the next round. This year might be the same as the year the Habs went far just by other teams beating each other up and degrading their lineups with injuries.
