Since this is still in pending, I am voiding Deslauriers.
He is on a 2 way contract which, in this league, means he is not eligible for waivers. As I posted in the Edmonton waiver fiasco, these are Dallas' options at the time of initial waiving.
1) If Dallas is sending these guys to the minors (to free cap), he does not need to waive them, and all these clams are void.
2) If Dallas is looking to get rid of these guys (to reach max. player limit), he has to buy them out. To do so, he has to announce in his initial post that he is "placing them on waivers with the intention of buying them out". THEN, anyone who clears these "waivers" MUST be bought out. They are not eligible at that time to go to the minors.
This means Delauriers is absolutely NOT eligible for "re-entry" waivers. Dallas either needs to buy him out, or "waive him DOWN" with the intention of buying him out.
