Alright, so as you already know, we were prepping for this new change in ManNHL. Here's the deal. We recognized that some might be frustrated that there was no real heads up to the change and didn't bother to use their upgrade points.
Here's the kicker - now you can.
Teams that already used their points, as we calculated recently to get a more precise list, got the advantage they received on their players and such for the regular season and the playoffs.
Teams that held on now get to benefit from their lost picks in the Lockout Team Draft. The following point totals are not based on post counts, but rather on predictions and such that people participated in down the stretch.
In the order provided, there is seniority for team selection. Over the next 24 hours, ManNHL gets to pick teams prior to the full-internet-wide launch. This is because you deserve it, it's a re-haul of this league, and you deserve it (did I say that already? Because I meant it!)
If you do not want a team, please say so in this thread so we can skip over you immediately. But seriously, you should be on this site because it's going to be awesome!
DRAFT ORDER:
NYR - 4
DAL - 3, EDM - 3, MTL - 3
PIT - 2, CGY - 2, BOS -2, NSH- 2
FLA - 1
Anyone not on this list is in a league-wide tie after Florida's position. After Florida picks, we're opening the site to everyone from anywhere.
The Rangers had the most points left, so they get to select a team from the new site first. If he opts not to, or has selected already, the three-way tie between Dallas, Montreal and Edmonton get their immediate selection (first come, first serve between those 3) and so on and so forth.
As we said, this is a 24 hour time-frame only, and after that it goes wide-open. You're still more than welcome to join at any time, but for the first 24 hours, the team selections are guaranteed to our members here on ManNHL.
The only team that is not available is the Maple Leafs (which Mike has selected) because Justin harassed him endlessly about not being the Leafs on our other sites. Plus, he don't lock up anyone. Ever.
You can find team rosters here, here, here, here, here,and here. But you DO NOT need to register to the new site yet in order to claim your team. DO IT IN THIS THREAD. After that, you can register to the new site any time you want. Your team is reserved once claimed here.
