These are the rules - All minor league contracts count against your budget. - If you go over your budget in minor league contracts, you will be forced to give up the 3rd highest paid player on your franchise to free agency, and if that doesn't clear enough space, your 4th highest paid player will be sent to free agency and so on and so forth until you can afford your club. -Your roster is made up of your draft picks and players you send down -You can freely demote players with contracts under 1M (posting them in minor league demotions) but all other players, unless on a rookie contract, must first be waived. -When you trade a player you trade them to the affiliate not the NHL team. Therefore, if a player cleared waivers, he does not have to clear re-entry waivers to be dealt to the other team. - Do not post the actual farm system of your club as those players have no bearing on our league, and if you try and trade one of them, you'll lose your lowest draft pick per player you attempted to trade and receive a warning for each incident for fraud. -You can not trade players that are part of the farm system, unless it was a player you sent to the minors from your original roster, or free agent signing. In other words, this player must exists in mannhl rosters.
