Some important notes about the optional Team Staff negotiations. For newbies, all staff signigns are optional, and offers are sent through PMs to the Player Rep's inbox.
Information:
AKA What to include
- Person's name
- position on your team (GM, coach, etc)
- Status (active player, retired, whatever)
- Current Contract (mainly pay) if there is one
- New contract offer
- Terms of the deal (bonuses etc.)
- a brief write-up as to why you want the guy/gal and why they should consider a job working with your team.
Format
AKA Requirements of the PM
- Staffer's name in the subject line
- quote previous PMs (instead of clicking on "reply", click "quote")
- if you are submitting offers for more than one staff member, offer each in separate PMs. Failure to do so can result in lost/ignored offers!
Notes
AKA Additional Info you should know
- Remember to retract any offers you no longer wish to offer. Any offers for unsigned guys stays in my inbox, and the guy may otherwise sign at any time.
- Be patient. I generally receive many offers per individual and may not reply to you.
- unless otherwise noted in offers you send, I will always consider money amounts to be a per-year salary. So if I see 5M/3 years, it means 5 mil a year for 3 years.
- you can offer for currently active players, BUT you must attain theri rights first, and then buy them out and hire them as staff - not as complicated as it sounds, really...
