Well guys.... It's been a while since my last update. Today, will be my random topic. Which will be the upcoming NFL Season.
Now, I'm a Pats fan. I was disappointed with the end to last season, obviously. Then - before the pre-season I had a bit of confidence the Pats would be able to shake that off, and gain momentum via the pre-season, but a 0-4 record won't exactly motivate you. Personally - I thought they could Fare well. They kept their offensive core intact, Brady has one of the best o-lines and receiving corps in the league.
But other than the Pats - If standings were to be exactly the same at the end of the regular season, as they are now...
The Division winners would include:
Miami Dolphins (3-1) Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) Tennessee Titans (3-1) San Diego Chargers (3-1)
Win the AFC divisions through the pre-season
In the NFC - things went like:
Washington Redskins (3-2) Detroit Lions (4-0) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-1) Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
Honestly, 7 of 8 teams surprise me - Seattle the only one I'm not amazed by. The biggest surprise has to be Detroit going 4-0, and the Dolphins winning the division. Could that be signs of this years superbowl? Hopefully not.
So, to finish off... who do you support? Who will win this year? Can the Dolphins have a good campaign?

Since you are a Pats fan and I am a fan of Da G-MEN, I guess you can say that you are my Bitch, right?
To answer your ?'s
1. G-MEN 2. Other than the Giants I would say the Pats and Colts always have a shot and my Darkhorse is the Browns. 3. No

Jets all the way!!!!!! They got Favre so I'm with them. Dolhins will probably be much better but they wont be super bowl competitors.
Anyone here watch the CFL?

Your assesment is way off Nash, The Pats will be decent but no where near where they were last year. The loss of Samuel, Wilson an Stallworth will hurt. Brady hasn't even appeared in a game yet, so that has to be a major concern. And look at their division, the Jets look like Super Bowl contenders with the pickup of Favre, the O-line upgrades, Kris Jenkins playing the nose, big time pass rushers in Calvin Pace and rookie Vernon Gholston. Jets are going to be tough this year without a doubt. The Bills also are improved but they will have shaky qb play all year and that will be their downfall. The Dolphins also don't appear to be as disgraceful as they were last year now that they are under a new regime in Parcells and Sparano. And they now have a respectful qb in Chad Pennington.
And don't worry about pre-season it means absolutley nothing. I've never seen anyone talk about pre-season records the way you just did.

I used to love the Packers but since they treated Favre so disrepctingly and traded him to the Jets I like Jets.

I'm saying - If this was the way the regular season was to end up. pre-season, is to prepare... If you were to read, you'd realize that all I said about pre-season records is that there were surprises, and that it would be huge if those really happened.

The Packers in no way shape or form dissrespected or mistreatted Favre. Favre retired and they moved on. They gave him plenty of opportunities to come back and he didn't. Favre was the one jerking the Packers around.

Favre told them he retired (huge press conferance where he cried) Between the P.C. and the draft tyhe Pakers asked him 3 times !!! if he wanted to comeback. Every single time he told them no. So the Packers moved on and named Aaron Rodgers the QB. Who is very deserving and as waited for so long. Then all of a sudden right around the start of camp Favre gets "the itch" to return. Should the Packers blow this guy also. I mean they would have taken him back if he handled this with class. But he didn't. And now he's on my team baby. Jets are taking the ship this year.
