known alot as doomsday.....or The End of the world
well here's what i think on the whole situation.
it's not true and i have a bit of evidence to support my case
I came up on this topic while searching random videos on youtube here's the 2 video's that got me to talk about this

just watch these 2 videos and you will want to talk about this just like i want to.
I'm not saying that people who support this are wrong...i may be be wrong and i may be right who knows. so here is my evidence that supports that we still have a long way to go.
1) December 31st 1999- remember this date...it was the "past" date of the doomsday...i remember this clearly...we woke up...had breakfeast did our normal new years day ...untill we watched a 4 o'clock news in the afternoon when it died down for about 2 hours...all they talked about were the number of suicides and murders and talking about the upcoming apocalypse that is supposed to happen....so as the clock ticked down on tv from times squared everyone must of been holding their breath and their loved ones....3-2-1 once that 1 hit i bet alot of non drunk people closed their eyes waiting for their death and for God to welcome them in heaven. everyone sat waiting for the next hour untill we dosed of into a deep sleep...the next morning we woke up...in a new year living...the doomsday didn't come.
2) Augest 14th-17th 2002- This is something that hit me a few weeks back while travelling to new york and talking about the "apocolypse"...When the apocolypse hits there is supposed to be a worldwide blackout.... then it comes. well this summer and these 3 days was definiotly a scare for most of the people in North America..There was a blackout a 3 day black out for if i'm correct most of north america started the 14th ...it seemed like a normal blackout then came the 15th...thats when people started to get worried....then the 16th(my birthday) came around. still no power. what was happening...no one knew my mother who was in thge military got called in to her work missing well my what turned out to be a glow in the dark celebration (considering everyone had to carry a flashlight...) this was getting longer than a usually 4 hour blackout...(if it's really serious) then came the 17th ...power was somewhat back...the scariest time for me. was the end about to come when no one expected it? ...
no it didn't turned out that something went wrong with one of the major power station thingies.....but it was a scare
and now probably the biggest one of all
3) Some Facts( For my Sake)
- The 2nd Coming of Jesus hasn't came yet...would god end the earth with out sending his Son to judge?
- How can the earth be destroyed at midnight? there is a thing called time zones....not all of the earth will hit midnight at the same time so how can there be a date when most of the time the date is different in countries a croos the atlantic ocean?
- When the say the end could they mean the end of the wait? Jesus could come back to judge "the living and the dead" and once he leaves again...then i will believe there will be a wipeout...just not of all the world.
- People say that dinosaurs were extinct by a astroid. So if it's true that this astroid is coming to blow up the earth..why didn't it happen last time? why wasn't the earth destroye last time. if the astroid was really true?
- I don't get how they can come up with so many different dates for the doomsday. like new years eve 2000? no even in 2010 theres some people saying thats the year. so why jump ahead to 2012? and why december 21st...i just don't get it
thats all i have to say on this...but once again i'm not saying it won't happen i just believe it won't

Actually i have heard of this as well..
Well apparently, the Myans (in which created the first ever ACCURATE calendar with 365 days and 4 seasons) predict that the world will end on December 21st 2012. This is because their ACCURATE calendar ends at that specific date. Merlin as well predicted this date, who predicted that people will communicate from England to France with the use of a rock, about 1000 years ago, and now is known as a cellphone.
There are sayings that there will be a Ice Age.
