Please Note: We have yet to decide if we will be having any GM Reps to start with, so for now this is just details on behalf of the tasks and procedures of a GM Rep.
Cor99 (Montreal) Came up with this idea (generally) and we really like it. He kindly gave us permission to use it (and we may have customized it to fit ManNHL specifically). The details are as follows:
- the General Manager's Representative is elected by YOU, the GMs of this league.
- The Rep will be given exclusive negotiating rights with the Player Rep and Primary Site Administrator (Leafs) over matters such as Salary Cap, Budgets, Bonuses, Signings, KHL-affiliation details, Max/Min salary details, etc. etc.
- If elected your roll is to act on behalf of the GMs of this league. Essentially, for one season, you do what PR does, but for the GMs of the site.
- you will still be a GM and have/run your team.
What's special about you?
- you will be given the power to veto ANY two (2) league-affecting decisions for a whole season. So if Leafs and PR bring in a contract out-clause that the GMs don't like, and they PM you about it, you can veto that decision. Odds are, such a thing would be discussed with you though.
- the power to be exempt from a permanent ban during your duration as representative. (If you continually break rules, which the Admins STRONGLY suggest you do NOT do, as you won't be GM Rep forever), you will be banned randomly throughout an undetermined amount of time, never longer than one day at a time. But for the love of God, don;t fuck with us just to be a bitch...it WILL hurt you in the end)
- 1M additional budget money. I know its not much, but every bit helps, and if the majority of people voted for you, you earned it.

Voting goes as follows:
We start with everyone - one big poll. After the bulk of people have voted (or voting has been open for about 3-4 days), the poll will close. The leaders will be put in another poll, and so on, until one member receives more than 15 votes (half the GMs on the site).
I will leave it there for now. This is still in progress, so any additions anyone has would be appreciated. Remember, this is YOUR rep, just as I am the PLAYERS rep. Make him/her count!
