Some important notes about RFA and UFA negotiations. For newbies, all UFA/RFA offers are sent through PMs to the Player Rep's inbox.
Who Sends It?
AKA Who sends it?
- the team the player currently plays for (prior to waiving)
- ideally, it is sent before the trade is posted
Information:
AKA What to include
- Player Name
- Team they are being asked to waive the clause to go to
Format
AKA Requirements of the PM
- a semi-descriptive subject line (I may ignore all "(No Subject") PMs, so just put something like "Thornton - waive request".
- quote any previous PMs (instead of clicking on "reply", click "quote")

AKA Additional Info you should know
- Most NTC/NMC info can be found here
- if you want to increase the odds that a player will waivge to play for your team, feel free to send a PM as well, outlining the role the player in question will play on his new team
- I will probably reply relatively immediately, but be patient. Sometimes the players and I generally receive many offers per player and may not reply to you.
- I'm sending out a PM to everyone requesting this, but it would be super duper cool if everyone noted who on their team had NMCs and NTCs.
- once a player agrees to waive, I will confirm it in the trade thread (so if its not already posted, PM me when it is).
