Hey guys,
This league has been fun, but due to lack of time and other sim leagues I have decided that I would have to step down. It'll free up more time for me and also let you guys have a Carolina GM who is online more often. The style in which this league is being runned is not my style anymore, I agreed to the new "old" method, but personally, I don't like it. I must say I enjoyed the salary cap bit, but that was not enough to entice me to stay.
Good luck all in whatever you do, and I'll probably see some of you around in Spitty's League and eaNHLsimulation.
Take care,
- Scorch.

It was great having you. Wish you the best, but now I'm going to make fun of you briefly.
If Joe Sakic retired in accordance to this resignation, it would sound like this:
I had a blast, but I no longer like playing for the style of the "new" NHL. I wish everyone the best and maybe I'll see you all around Walmart or Don Cherry's restaurant. (And then he gets paid millions for suggesting people should attend those places lol)
Thank you.

He's quitting because Eric Staal refused to accept a 2M, 4 year contract extension.

He's quitting because Eric Staal refused to accept a 2M, 4 year contract extension. Lmfao. I didn't make ANY attempts to re-sign ANYBODY. Since I wouldn't be running the team, I'd let a new GM decide which direction the team goes. Thanks All. I'll be checking the site once every so often.
