I've just received word that quite possibly the biggest trade ever considered on this site has just been SHOT DOWN! Rumour has it that the trade looked like this:
To Detroit:
Eric Staal (89)
Jordan Staal (86)
Marc Staal (80)
Cam Ward (86)
To Carolina:
Nicklas Lidstrom (90)
Scott Niedermayer (88)
Dany Heatley (90)
Dominik Hasek (89)
A difference of 16 overall points, averaging a Carolina upgrade of 4 points per player!
