I think the idea is good. A team doesn't have to comply with the player's request, but it does draw some interesting takes into where a player does and does not want to be. Not every player daily is going to request for a trade, but if someone isn't producing and signed on for the playoff run and it isn't happening, he might request a trade, and you might search around for where to get him sent for weeks, but the notion is there, and that player might go back on his words if the team starts to gel.

EX, Campbell would have asked for a trade because I didn't give him his money.. Correct?

The player rep should pm the gm of the team and say that his client has asked to be traded for certain reasons which should be made up. The team then can trade him or not. But it would be cool if something can come out in the rumors section about the player asking to be traded

This league is the most realistic I've seen, with a player rep and rules modified from other leagues to make it more like the NHL. This just furthers the idea, and I think that would be great.
