Apparantly there was a misunderstanding here. After checking outbox, i see that I told Columbus:
"Unfortunately, Storr is currently on a team where he appears to be in a solid back up role. He suggests Columbus make room for him before bringing him in. At that time, he will waive. Thanks for your interest,"
- PR, March 28, 2008.
Then, later, after some trades and updating, there was a spot for him... I guess I was unclear and thought Columbus understood that this meant the matter was completed and dealt with.
