Maybe Nashville will go after Eric Staal, he has been trying to get Kopitar off me for awhile now.

But, I have Lecavalier now. I wouldn't be against a Staal deal, not sure I have what it takes though, for what is available.

If Dallas rejects that, I will kill him The trade would put leafs over the cap by more than the 10% maximum allowed.

Alright, first of all, no one has to be cap compliant until when rosters have to be submitted (See Schedule). Secondly, we don't have a rule regarding roster limits...?
I'm finding it funny that members are creating more rules as we go than those who actually run the site.

Also, I'd be over the cap by 5M for now, but I have plenty of time to work my way under.

He's also got 2 players named Schenn, which isn't allowed, (new rule), so he's going to have to do something there.

I don't know about roster limits, but since we're realistic I'd expect the 10% limit to be in play. Poll possibly? I didnt mean to be a pain in your ass, Mike. Just stated the real NHL rules.

I don;t think it matters how far over the cap you are at any given time. Its easy to get under quickly with waivers and such.
I think as long as you are under by roster-call, who cares if you go over?
