No, he means grapes the food. Can we stick to the topic at hand here for a little while longer?
Also of interest, half the league has commented on this trade, and Washington hasn't a) accepted it, or b) been on in the last 24 hours to check on whether it was posted or anything.
Here's the deal. I say if we overturn this trade, then we need a new Washington. If we leave it, we're saying not only the TRADE is fine, but that Washington's participation in the league is good enough too. I have no opinion at this time, I am just outlining the ramifications of judgment here.

The fact that Caps hasn't posted on this yet says enough.

Not nearly enough for arguably the best player in the world IMO.

So I guess my vote is to scrap the deal if your booting Washington, and reluctantly accept the deal if he stays. Also I'm going to point out that Dallas has not logged in since June 30th and only posted 3 times. (I noticed this because I was going to try to get his no.1 overall pick. )

Just realized who Caps was. Yeah it's a bad trade for him, but it's still fair. He isn't the type to leave after a trade too.

I will formally walk away from this trade. After negotiations with caps, I actually felt this was a trade he was doing because he got players he wanted, but to come on here after I've defended him for why he did the trade and literally disappear again, I do not think it is fair to the league. Sucks I didn't get an elite player like I've been working on for the last week, but it's not fair to do this trade to the next Capitals GM, and as much as it would have been neat to actually have Ovechkin in a sim league, it's not worth it at this point. Rejected, Finalized, I'll try again with a new Caps GM, thank you to everyone for commenting on this trade, if you know active people, have them sign up. We have about 25 very dedicated and excellent members, we deserve one for Washington as well. Cheers

I really respect you for making this decision Leafs. You could have easily allowed this to go through since Caps had already accepted the deal.

After Washington even accepted this trade, he decided to walk away to make it fair for the new upcoming GM of the Capitals without bickering about it. Christ, I'd go off the head, nice to see somebody around here has a head on their shoulders.

If this were real life the riot among devastated hockey fans in Toronto would be full-blown.

Yeah, Quinn would have taken Ovechkin THEN removed Washington right after the trade was finalized. Hell, I have seen him do exactly that.

Trade would of been fair if Luke Schenn was in there instead of the picks (This thread has now been electrified by ManNHL's most electrifying man.)
