Player: Justin Pogge Stats: 3.12, 22-18-4, 0.907 Sitting Jury: Pittsburgh, Anahiem, Edmonton
For Carolina: Proposed Salary:$0.5M
Would be the 3rd goalie on this team and we would give him time in the NHL. This team is his best bet to try and land an NHL job in the future
For Pogge Proposed Salary: 0.85M We disagree that Carolina is Pogge's best bet in the NHL, as we have had one inquiry already about Pogge's services for a back-up role in the NHL. Pogge is young, and is still developing into a phenom. On UFA market, Pogge could easily bring in 0.9M-1M. Given the fact that he will no-doubt be playing in the minors in Carolina if he ends up there anyways, what is the difference to the Hurricanes in 0.3M? Given his FA market value, his age, and his potential, we seek an amount more reasonable than league minimum.
Remember, you don;t need to choose a side, so much as decide on a salary. It can be anything.

Judging by the fact that Pogge is still a young goalie and still could develop into a solid goalie, not to mention someone may have offered him a backup role, I would suggest a 0.75M salary

Pogge's GAA is pretty bad, and his W/L ratio isn't phenomenal either. I'm thinking 0.675M for 1 year, and this is due to his age only. He is young, and with proper training, he COULD be good, but at this point, it is a longer shot than him becoming average at best.

$712,500. Average between the two figures Anaheim and Edmonton suggested, and I agree with both of their points.

Just curious, this will still be a 2-way contract like both PR and I prosposed correct?

Just curious, this will still be a 2-way contract like both PR and I prosposed correct? This sounds prickish, but you are not allowed to say anything here until its moved, just like everyone else. Only the Arbitration Committee can see this at the moment, so until its public, its JUST the guys in the subject line please.

Just curious, this will still be a 2-way contract like both PR and I prosposed correct? I am voting for a 2-way, but if Pens/Oil want a 1-way because of a) merit (with valid arguments) or b) as a punishment for commenting, I will change my mind/vote.
