GENERAL INFO:
Alright after I have the following in place:
- Updated stats as of 1 day before the deadline
- The monthly madness sim and analysis of each club
- Stats of each teams two page team insight
- Standings
You will all be notified of a 48 hour period in which trade deadline deals can take place.
You MUST specify in the Deadline Exclusive section if your team is a BUYER, a SELLER, or a NEUTRAL - Note: Neutral's will more than likely receive no attention as they will be entering the post-season with their team as is.
Specifying your teams position is a great way to get the ball rolling and it speaks volumes. But, you should still go out of your way to contact the team of your opposite to get what you want in the long or short term benefits.
DEALS:
All deals will be placed in the deadline deal section. It is the same as per usual with NTC/NMC waivings (see player rep section for more info if you're not familiar with our technique) but all other deals are considered done and will require only 1 admin or player rep approval. All deals must be posted before the 48 hour limit. They will be reviewed during the 48 hour time frame, but some may be reviewed afterwards if they had just reached the buzzer. So, once your deal is posted, unless it is ackwardly unfair, it is more than likely approved and you can continue negotiations.
If a trade is complete unfair and the team that acquires a member of that trade deals that player off upon receiving him, both deals will be reversed and I'll have to go through a big mess of fun due to your incompetance. But the name of the game is to go big or go home. We're all in for the Stanley Cup, either now or in a few season. Let's make this deadline the foundation for the next few seasons in this league.
Good luck to all and happy trading.
Mike
