I accept. Note: Flyers have no centers not the best excuse since Giroux and Wilson can easily be moved back to center. Nicely done on the trade though Anaheim.

I accept. Note: Flyers have no centers Well then maybe a half decent center should be added to compensate since you seem to be "helping" this new GM. How is it PR or Commish or SOMEONE isnt putting a stop to all these "trades" Philly has been doing??? That team is gonna be destroyed.

I did not offer Koivu, I asked what for Pronger, and that was the response I got.

Wow, okay:
1)one strike for Devils and one strike for Blackhawks. Regardless of what you think of the deal, Ducks had not accepted it when you started in on these tirades.
2) As much as I think this deal is brutal (and I do), I have contacted Philly previously and was satisfied with the way the team was being managed, and the goals of the GM. If you don't like what Philly's GM is doing, don't trade with Philly's GM.
3) Everyone sucks except PR. Don't forget it.

Let's just do the math here:
CHRIS PRONGER 4.921 UFA 2017 - He's 37 yrs old. Has 33 pts this season with 15 goals and 18 assists. His best asset as a DEFENCEMAN is his +- at 40.
SAKU KOIVU 2 UFA 2014 -36 years old. Has 36 pts this season with 14 goals and 22 assists. He plays centre.
Philly currently has count 'em 2 centres, and while I could move Giroux and Wilson, Giroux at least is playing fine where he is.
Philly has Marc Stall- I don't need two ridiculous defence man who are apparently the best point makers on my team.
None of you have even made me a decent offer on Stall, so Pronger was probably going to go.
I save $2.921 and get the same points production if not better.
I couldn't give a damn who Pronger is in real life and the same goes for Koivu- this isn't real life and the numbers don't lie.

I disagree, this site is far different than others because here it doesn't really matter about name or overalls (as there are no overalls) but on production. In this case, while the production was close, both players are ancient, though Koivu is younger, and Flyers was looking to bolster their second line. The proof will be in the simming pudding, so to speak, but that is why these trades are being approved.
Case in point, Michal Frolik is leading the Blackhawks with 35 points. Eric Staal has 34 points with Dallas. Now, in real life, Staal would never be dealt for Frolik straight up but in this league, both are equal performers, Frolik if not so MORE productive with 22 goals to Staal's 18 goals.
Flyers made deals addressing productivity in specific areas they felt needed to be corrected and did so accordingly, and in a fair manner, as determined by those who run this league.

Prongers 33 PTS (As a D on an above average team) > Koivu's 36 Pts (2nd line C on a stacked team)
^ That is in my opinion, of course, but I value having a deep core of talented Defencemen, and I feel that putting another guy with similar talent to that of Koivu with Sharp and Selanne will give an almost identical production.

Just figured since your not saying anything someone had to do your job. With all due respect (and I do respect you as a GM jabbyjay) I've been doing this job for almost 4 years now, across 4 different ManNHL sites, and without exaggeration, have probably invested tens of thousands of HOURS of my life into ManNHL sites. As such, I have a tiny bit of experience with league and trade management, and in this case, I also have several different PM communications that have convinced me that Flyers is in no risk of a) handing players to friends, or b) simply dumping and bolting from the league. These are the only reasons we would block any trades from a GM who has a plan. Again, respect, but thanks for coming out jabbyjay, and better luck next time. Sincerely, Your friendly neighbourhood PR
