Alright, I'm rejecting this deal, finalized, as apparently Senators has no interest in listening to me.

To clarify, this trade is rejected because once the trade was made, the Sens were over the cap by 3M+. He was told about this, pmed me back and forth about this, and felt that him writing "waived" on his roster constituted an actual waiving of a player. After telling him to post him in waivers if he indeed intended on "waiving" Gilbert, Sens opted against it. Had he posted him in waivers, the deal would have been immediately approved. Sens has another agenda. So the trade was rejected, finalized. You can try again on another deal at another time.

I gave you a deadline, then you stated he already was on waivers because you wrote that he was in your roster page, which is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever heard of, and hence you lose your deadline for just being that damn dumb.
Secondly, when teams make trades that put them over the cap, they immediately waive someone and thus are under the cap.
Thirdly, on NHL rules, you cannot go over the cap during the regular season.
You had over 48 hours to do something in regardless to these three things, and did nothing. Deal rejected, you can try again if you want, but you know the parameters to make sure you're making a proper trade.

Also, since the deal was sitting in pending, the fact that it has been rejected means nothing. You can always just re-do the deal when you've figured out our cap issues to be cap compliant in order to make this trade, so I wouldn't worry about it.
