He really rushes to make decisions for NTC. He works way to hard on this and he needs to take his time. He's obviously very dedicated based on his quickness to give a response and he deserves to not have to scramble to make a decision. Take Your Time PR, you can slow down.

well this is kinda the internet..you cant tell..
The Player Rep needs to be quicker with his decisions. The Thornton trade was never solved. Mine took a few days. Why so long? Its not like you actually need to ask anyone, you make it up, which means it shouldnt take longer then 5 minutes.

Put it this way. How long did it take Peter Forsberg to say yes to waiving his NTC last year? Uh, about 2 months. How long did it take for the decision to eventually stay with the maple leafs this year for Mats? Right to the deadline. So when teams are in the mix of contending for top of their division or breaking the playoff boundary and the PR asks to see 3 to 5 more days of simming, that's more my fault than his. And if you don't have enough patience for that to happen then why are you here? You wanted a more realistic outlook of the NHL we've done that, and now you're complaining because it is too realistic. I do agree that sometimes little trades such as Storr should be worked out immediately, but unless otherwise specified, that's up to the teams involved to get a response, not for him to find out about the trade and then make a decision. The Thornton trade had a request of 5 sim days, upon which Jackets sucked ass and Sharks continued their progression to ultimately reign leader in the Pacific Division. Thornton then decided to stay.

I agree with Leafs. I can understand when someone like a Thornton takes a little while to decide. But when a scrub like Storr takes a week at least, thats unacceptable to me.

I have read this suggestion and take it under advisement. However, to consider: if I am taking longer, its probably better than just saying no immediately (or in 5 mins) which would have been the Thornton case. Instead, I chose to give Columbus the benefit of waiting to see how thety did. It didn;t pan out, so Thornton did not waive. I stand by the Thornton thing.
I was a bit slower than I would have liked for Timonen/Giguere, and I apologize for that. But if there is ONE thing I stand by most of all, its Storr.
Here's the Storr-y: Storr was on a team where he was a clear, solid NHL back up. He was asked to waive to a team that, as per the most updated roster available to me, he would be a borderline 4th string goalie (behind like...an 84, 82, and another 80, if memory serves). Backup in the minors? Hell fucking no people. The delay came because Columbus was asked to move some goalies OR update the Jackets roster.
If you want this shit to speed up, do your part. Keep your rosters up to date, and if its your job, keep the standings up to date, etc.
Since extensions are not URGENT, i do those as quick as possible, and if you haven't heard anything from me in a few days, please ask me. Sometimes they may get lost in my inbox. FA offers, on the other hand - I will contact you. Don't need to ask, unless you are considering a withdrawal.
That is all.

My roster has always been up to date. And currently if Storr came to my team he would be my backup. Considering that I have an 82 in Leclaire and a 74 in Danny S. So I really have no idea what the holdup is. The day me and Washington agrred to the trade I went out and made trades to assure Storr that he would be the backup goalie. This was about 5 days ago. And still no answer. I did my part PR. And the Goalie situation that you said, the 84, 82, 80 never exsisted. So I'm pretty confused by your reasoning.
ps. I like the Storr-y title. Clever

By the way your fine with the extenions. No problem there. Just your activity on the NTC's has to speed up.
And with the Thornton thing I would have rathered you came out and said that Thornton won't accept a trade right away. It really would have helped me out. The 5 day thing really bothered me.

The five day was warranted due to you and the Sharks sitting around 8th and 9th and unfortunately for Jackets fans, Columbus fell a bit while the Sharks all of a sudden got hot. Thornton decided to stay with what he considered to be the stronger club. I think the only problem you really have with your team it the goaltending.

Umm....Storr waived as soon as there was room for him. Many many days ago...To the best of my knowledge, that deal was already done and Storr was already on your team.....
When I was first asked about the waive, you had 3 goalies equal to, or better than Storr listed in your roster. It was not updated, otherwise the waive would have been immediate.
In terms of trade speed, maybe I will put that to vote then, because the Thornton thing was really up in the air until he started putting up 3 points/game with SJ. I still don't think a few day wait is unreasonable for superstars.

The Storr trade was pending till yesterday. I'm not to upset about this delay because his presence wasn't an emergency.
