In the NHL over last 30 years. In my opinion are
Ovechkin Bure Fedorov (at his peak) Moginly Malkin Kovalchuk
Yes, Malkin and Ovechkin are young but they are dominating now. But if I had to choose 1 it would be a very close one between Bure and Ovechkin everytime those 2 go on the ice something would happen.

No Datsyuk?
Yashin, Kovalev, Larionov, Fetisov, Makarov. these guys are below the ones you listed, Fetisov could easily be at near the top of your list.

I forgot about Datsyuk he should be there, but the rest are good but I would personally wouldnt put them at the level of Ovechkin and Bure, these guys produced big at the nhl level. They could change a game alone. But you could have a different opinion

Everybody mentioned already, pretty much. But, Max Afinogenov can be good. He's just really inconsistent.

Afinoganov, a player who has scored over 65points ONCE, never hit 25 goals. This year he has 2 goals and is minus 14, 10 goals last year.

At least last year he had Brian Campbell to feed him a few pucks. He's got nobody around him now, and has gone completely down the tubes. He's not in the same class as any of the guys listed.

Hence, the inconsistent part. I'm aware that he now sucks. But put him with any of the other guys mentioned, and he could be a great player again.

You can put almost anyone with the players above and they will be great.

Afino has very good raw talent. He had every opportunity you could think of over a whole season but he doesnt bring any intensity and his work rate is horrible. He was given plenty of opportunity playing with Roy, Vanek. The two players he put his best offensive numbers with. I could really see him going to Russia.
Also, i think Malkin is pretty much as good as Ovechkin and people may not want to admit it because OV is so awesome, but Malkin produces big time points now.
Kovalchuk is unbelievable, he is still very young. Hopefully he gets a centreman to play with again, so everyone can see that he can score 60. He is going to enter his prime in a couple seasons and if he is playing with 1st line players he will be top 5 in pts for many years.

Kovalev definately has the shooting/deking ability to be one of the top players in the world, it's just a question of motivation and if he's able to mesh with his linemates. As for Kovy, he was amazing with Savard, now if he can get out of Crap-Lanta or magically find a way to lure someone decent there, he's got a shot at 60 for sure. Ovy and Malkin are pretty dead even in talent, just Ovy's abit more physical and way more emotional, which makes him much more exciting to watch. Plus, he actually tries to speak English.
