Most of you suck at this, so here's a quick little guide that will help you NOT waste my time when offering for former NHLers.
- players still playing in Europe will "probably" be interested in playing in the NHL. But, the cost to move is expensive, so the money needs to be there.
- If a player didn;t officially retire, but kind of disappeared (Jason Allison), they might be interested in coming back under the right circumstances (NMC are pretty much a must here, cause they don;t wanna be in the damn minors).
- players that retired in 2010 or later might be "willing" to come back, but would need to be offered by a SERIOUS Cup contender, or given GOOD money, and will almost certainly want a NMC. These guys want stability and consistency.
- skaters over 40 are almost certainly NOT interested in returning. Special circumstances need to be offered/met. But i would still say there's about a 0.1% chance this will happen.
Goalies over 42 are almost certainly NOT interested in returning. Special circumstances need to be offered/met. But i would still say there's about a 0.1% chance this will happen.
- players who actually retired more than 3 years ago are NOT interested in returning. The odds of this happening are less than 0.01%. INCREDIBLY special circumstances, and even then, the answer will be no. Offer them for coaches instead.
- if any player is over 50, retired for more than 5 years, suffered a carreer-ending injury (Konstantinov) or are dead. DO NOT OFFER. I might even start handing out warnings for wasting my time.
- if a player is signed on as a ManNHL coach/goalie coach . DO NOT OFFER. Again, I might hand out warnings for wasting my time.
Any failing to comply with this will result in a no-reply and a deleted PM.
THANK YOU!
