Working on MASSIVE re-negotiations and wanna thank you all for your continued patience. We;re getting really close. Ducks and Coyotes I will get your stuff done sometime today (Sunday) and I have a Devils NTC in progress. If you are NOT one of those teams and I have not replied to a contract offer, it may have got lost in the shuffle. You can re-send any offers that I did not reply to. Also, a few important things re: contract/PM stuff. - If you are asking about a NTC/NMC waiving, put NTC/NMC in the subject line. I try to deal with those first to avoid delays in trades. Also, you MUST include what team the guy is being asked to go to. - I often mark stuff as read, or read it quickly then leave. I WILL get back to you. Don't think I just ignored or lost stuff. WHen i do a mass-clearing (like tonight) i post a notice saying any missing offers need to be re-sent. No need to fill inbox asking about them before that. - Please do NOT include the TOTAL value of a contract. JUST the per-year amount. Its easier for my brain when I am dealing with 400 contracts if I see as few numbers as possible. - that being said, please make sure you include GP-G-A-PTS in offers. +/- is good but not necessary. For goalies, GP-W-L-OTL-GAA-S% would be great. - ALWAYS hit "quote" and not "reply". Too many PMs to remember so i get lost without quotes. - PLEASE if you trade a guy PM me with the word WITHDRAWL in the subject line and lemme know i don;t need to waste time on that contract offer. PLEASE. Thank you all for your patience (Flames, Leafs, Colorado, Ducks, PHX, and half the rest of the league ) and screw you for your impatience (Pittsburgh and someone else who i forget). Love you all. PR is off to bed now after 3 straight hours (not an exaggeration) of contract/PM work. ;D

Also, unless Leafs objects, I want to put together a committee of about 3-4 respected members to be an arbitration board for RFA salary arbitration.
You can start telling us why you should be on the arbitration board here if you want. Include REALISTIC availability and why you think you would be good on the 3-person committee.
Thanks again.

I'm in favor of the RFA arbitration board. Ideally, the conversation would take place in a thread specifically for the board, but the thread would be made available for public viewing once arbitration is concluded because we don't believe in complete "confidentiality" hence the non-locked threads.
I believe the board should be based on 3 or 4 members, with myself and PR essentially "listening" to the reason. Myself, nor the PR will partake in any suggestions of price, but requirements must be followed for discussions of the arbitration. Final say will essentially be determined on a 48 hour basis per RFA discussion by a collective agreement.

I would like to throw my hat into the ring to be an RFA Board Member. I think I would be an asset to the team due to years of running my own leagues and Im an old fart that knows hockey. Colorado (Spitfire)

I'd like to be on this Committee. I'm an origional MAN member that has given MAN some good ideas in the past (GM Rep most successful) and gave many ideas for the reincarnation as well, so why would I be a bad choice? I'm very active and I check in every day, and would be a great RFA Board Member!

I'd like to be on the committee as well. I told Mike already that I was interested in being part of the management of the site in some way, and I think that my general hockey knowledge can be put to use over here.

Well on Cranky Sims Mike had asked for any ideas and I gave a few ideas that are pretty good. Whether they get implemented we will have to wait and see. A couple including mike said that they all made sense

We had division reps in ManNHL 1 early on and the problem i found is only 1 of our 6 actually did what was asked of them. It became a bigger job than not having them at all.

I'll throw my name out there aswell, Mike knows me well and knows about what I'm capable off. I'll be fairly active here and have a good hockey knowledge.

With respect where respect is due, Mike knows you but I do not, so it might be a good job to try to sell yourself a tiny bit more than that. Not that I doubt you have "mad skillz", but its not really Mike's job to tell us what you are "capable of" during a "job" application.

My Division Reps are different, they don't watch over the divisions and check rosters etc Its for different meetings that happen, anything you and mike want discussed they can bring to their respected divisions to get feedback which gets brought to you

I'd be up for a spot on the committee.
I am active, lots of simming experience, have good hockey knowledge and I'd like to think I know a lot about players, not just a particular team, prospects too. IF I don't, I am always willing to do some research.

I like to apply for a spot on the committee. I was the Blues GM in the original MAN. I'm fairly active and I provide fair assessments on players. Even though I don't post a whole lot, I post messages when I feel it is necessary.
