I knew the day would come that this old fart would build my final roster to try to win a league championship. I am proud to say that I have enjoyed all of the leagues I have been in and also ones that I have created. I am happy to say that I enjoyed bashing heads with you on rare occasion with the goals of hashing out deals. I am also happy to say that manNHL, one of my favorite leagues of all time (after my own of course (biased)) was officially my last sim league that I retired from. Outstanding admins here. Cheers!
As most of you know, I co-own and run 2 stores now and my kids are also demanding more and more attention with activities after school and on weekends. Time is an extremely valuable asset to me right now and I must step aside from all sim leagues, and in all likelihood, will not be returning other than to chat with you and kinda check in.
Anyways, I thank each and every one of you for the years of sim league friendship and I bow out now knowing that I gave my best effort in every league to make sure I got to the playoffs each season. In over 5 years of sim leagues, only twice did my teams not make it to the playoffs. And on both occasions, I inherited shitty teams late in the season.
So, see you all around.
A little poem.......
When I'm in a sober mood, I worry pray and think When I'm in a drunken mood, I gamble play and drink. When my sim days are over And my leagues have come to pass I hope they bury me upside down So the world may kiss my ass.
See ya! spitfire (spitty)

yoh man good luck in future endeavors and all. Spitty league was without a doubt the greatest league I was ever a part off. Incredibly fun league too bad it had to die but still those were the best times for 10 seasons! Thanks for all those years of simming! it was truly a memorable experience and probably something I won't forget for a long time especially because in Season 6, I was Dallas as 8th seed and I made you choke in 7 games and went onto the finals only to lose in 7 games to hurricanes. That was definately the most cherished season I ever had considering I made it to the playoffs on the last day lol. Also, spitty league was the first to innovate the whole legends thing so now the legacy will continue on forever.

Best of luck bud. It all started with a hockey pool that we did (where you and I teamed up to rip someone off to land me Blake when he had his 40 goal season), to IceLegends, to ManNHL, then to BenchBoss.
It was a fun bud, and it was great working with you for so long.
Best of luck in your sim league 'retirement' - I know I'll hear from you from time to time, but sad to see THE legend of sim leagues call it quits.
You better check back from time to time... And if you ever want to Co-GM the Ducks with me (of course, IF allowed), you'd be more than welcome.

Cheers Spitty, one of the greatest GMs any sim site has ever been. I think everyone can share a fun memory of two of you in sim sites, it's how we've all connected over the years. Hope to continue to see you around on here from time to time, site's always open for you bud.
