what are your thoughts ? some of the UFC fans here probably shat their pants when they found this out . Did Lesnar lose on purpose to go back and join the WWE ? Did Dane White make a deal with Vince McMahon? these are questions people want to be answered but being a WWE fan for as long as I have I could careless. BROCK LESNAR IS BACK!!!!!!!! wrestling is getting exciting once again

I think they're gonna turn back into TV-14 and enter "Aggression" Era. If that happens then I'll start watching them again for sure. This is pretty exciting, Y2J is back, Rcok returned, Brock Lesner and possible Batista. Pretty cool and obvs John Cena as a Heel is awesome

Lmao@"did Brock lose on purpose"
Umm, you don't lose an MMA fight on purpose. Losing HURTS. Literally.
As for the WWE return, I think its great for the WWE, since Brock became such a HUGE name in UFC. Hopefully he can help guide their product back to the quality it once was. They need to just ride the fact that fans like him right now and make him a Face. Having him be a Heel, even though he is better as a heel, is a bad idea for now.

Doesn't it bother anyone else that almost every guy listed in this thread is old? WWE is dead because it has to rely on old men to make it cool again.

The WWE will be nothing when these old guys cant keep coming back. If the WWE loses HHH and Undertaker, they're pretty much empty when it comes to entertainment. The Cena-thug line is getting old and CM Punk is nowhere near as good/talented/entertaining as his predecessors.

WWE doesn't trust the mid card talent( Daniel Bryan , Kofi Kingston , the miz , R-truth , Cody Rhodes those type of guys) they have that's the reason they are bringing back these guys other thing is they don't have is the same amount of Talent and depth as they did starting from the mid 90's and going to 2005. I can look back on previous rosters and say if that person was around he would be world champ. what these "old guys" give WWE is time. Time to look and develop new stars. Scorch Cena hasn;t been a heel since 2004 and I don't know if you have been watching CM punk lately but he has gotten entertaining. His in ring and Mic skills have improved drastically since he started.

WWE has had time since 2001. 11 years to develop talent is just absurd. THAT is why they are dying. If they had healthy competition (WCW still around) that talent would be forced through and pushed. Hard. They would not be relying on stale old talent. They would both be pushing good new guys through. That is why buying the WCW hurt the WWF so badly. They needed each other to continue to evolve wrestling. WWE has no real competition now, save for UFC, and even then, thats like saying NBA and NHL are competing.

WCW was going bankrupt that's why they jumped at the thought of purchasing it. I wouldn't say 2001 I'd say 2006 , but I'm sure they will figure something out soon.

yeah 2005 was the last good year. then it was boring as shiiz. The last great sotryline was Evolution. after that they just kept on feeding nostalgia like bring DX back, kane masked e.t.c. CM Punk's awesome but besides him and Cena, and maybe Sheamus, nothing excites me. The rest are just fillers or guys from a while back. Like nowadays, tag team matches and title sucks and so does intercontinental, us champ e.t.c Back in the day, tag teams would be soooo much fun like Kane, RVD and DX and Rated RKO, Edge christian and my favs, Hardy Boyz! Also Latino Heat e.t.c

I saw Wrestlemania this past weekend (which I thought was great only because of HHH/Undertaker/Jericho/Randy Orton/Rock), but before that, the last WWE thing i've seen was maybe 2-3 years ago when they did the supershow (Raw and Smackdown on the same day) in Montreal. Last time I watched the WWE on TV was a good 4-5 years ago. TBH never saw the thrill with Cena - he's got good people skills (fans, ect) however his style of wrestling is boring. And CM Punk never really interested me much either

Problem now is PG ERA and the fact that WWE has watered down the actual movesets.
Back in Attitude, you never really knew how someone would end the match (besides their finisher). Now-a-days you know Cena will do 5KS, then FU. CM Punk will do a bulldog from the corner and then GTS in pretty much every match.
Even during the match, they all seem to do the same moves every single match, and it's not exciting anymore. The old guys bring excitement because they have a ton of moves in their moveset. The younger guys don't.
