Alright, so we're gunna start sharing our articles here for you guys to read, because they are cool and you should read them. Also this is an sports site so I'm sure you guys like real life sports, and we can all chat about the real life shit that's going down.
And speaking of "going down" let's talk about UFC 146:

That's the link to the article, with the pictures, but here's the article:
When UFC 146 was announced a few months ago, every MMA fan was excited and intrigued by what would be the biggest card ever, thanks to Zuffa's matchmakers, but it was short lived as soon the card began to crumble.
Out went Alistair Overeem and his Heavyweight contendership after failing a drug test which put his T/E level to near 12-1, which was twice the limit of 6-1 as formed by the Nevada State Athletic Commission. He has since been given a 9 month suspension for the offense. Overeem defeated Brock Lesnar for the title shot, and thus the fight would have been awarded to Lesnar for potentially "unfairly" losing, but he has since signed a contract with the WWE and is thus no longer available for MMA fights. Lesnar had also retired from MMA following his loss to Overeem this past December.
Next, Super Samoan Mark Hunt had to withdraw from his fight against "Skyscraper" Stefan Struve, due to injury. These two fights send a shockwave through the fight card, forcing fight realignments in order to keep it somewhat together. Mark Hunt had an opportunity to jump into the upper echelon had he earned a win against Struve, but that adventure will be put off for a while. Strikeforce crossover, Lavar Johnson, has taken his place and is currently riding a two fight win streak in the UFC over Jey Beltran and Pat Barry. A win over Struve would put him in the same position Mark Hunt could have reached and could be the rise of a new Heavyweight talent.
Frank Mir, who was originally scheduled to fight Cain Velasquez for a number-one contender fight, was bumped up into the championship match, while Velasquez was given the opportunity to fight Antonio "Big Foot" Silva, who was first scheduled to fight Roy Nelson. But then Nelson did not have an opponent. To correct this, the UFC bumped up returnee Gabriel Gonzaga from a Preliminary fight to the Main Card, until he, too, was forced out due to injury and replaced by Dave Herman. Herman is coming off a loss against Struve. Gonzaga was intended to fight another Strikeforce crossover, Shane del Rosario, but he will now face Stipe Miocic in his first UFC fight. And round and round we go.
The fight card went from this:
Junior dos Santos vs. Alistair Overeem - Championship Match
Frank Mir vs. Cain Velasquez - Number 1 Contender Fight
Antonio Silva vs. Roy Nelson
Stefan Struve vs. Mark Hunt
Shane del Rosario vs. Gabriel Gonzaga
To This:
Junior dos Santos vs. Frank Mir - Championship Match
Cain Velasquez vs. Antonio Silva
Roy Nelson vs. Dave Herman
Stipe Miocic vs. Shane del Rosario
Stefan Struve vs. Lavar Johnson
Now, it's not as if we can do anything about it, but while there are still a few talented names on this list, my question is whether or not this card is still interesting to fight fans? It seems almost every week someone else won't be able to fight and with the card just a couple days away, one has to be hoping no more injuries will occur. Hell, even the poster's been manipulated a half dozen times:

It's still the "biggest" card of the year, but perhaps that claim can only be attributed to the size factor, and not the intrigue.
How do you feel about the upcoming card?
