In 1977, John Wagner brought the world the first appearance of character Judge Dredd - a futiristic warrior in a post-apocalyptic world who plays all of judge, jury and executioner. In 1995, Sylvester Stallone was still considered to be part of the A-list action stars on the planet (along with Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwartzenneger) and was cast to bring the high-powered comic character to life. With an estimated budget of $70M, it grossed just over $110M worldwide, and can be viewed as a success - financially. Ratings-wise, it's considered a massive flop with just a 5.1 rating on IMDB, and 15% (critics) / 35% (viewers) on Rotten Tomatoes. But the character deserves another shot. Hell, if the Punisher is going to get a new, un-care-able flick every ten years, the world deserves a second chance at Dredd. (Alright, alright, I know you're all saying "the Punisher murders a thousand people in two minutes of footage... I'll give you that one.)
