Well Hello there people, I'm your host 55587crosby and today we'll be talking about all the things you can look forward to that's coming this season.
This Show will be about Fan Base.
First of all I have no clue to what fan base means but that wont stop me from writing more about it.
The teams that will recieve a lot of attention are listed in this column. The top 5 teams are:
#5. Calgary Flames - Winning the Western Conference Finals last year was a HUGE thing for this club so there's little to doubt that people wont come and watch the Flames this season. With great goaltender excellent defense and good offense, this club will surely have many fans, to add to that they also have collected Brendan Morrow, Jarome Iginla and Chris Pronger who can clobber oppenents in fist fights.
#4. Philadephia Flyers - Every one in Philly loves hockey. But they are gonna love it even more simply because the Legion of Doom has been re - united thanks to Philadephia Flyer's GM, hockeyfan101. Renberg, LeClair and Lindros were all re - uinted and this may be they're last season, But it will be one to remember. Kovalchuk, Drury and Cheechoo will lead the way for the Flyers this year and with shut down defensemen, Boyle and Jovanovski, the fans will all love this team because of the entertainment it will provide.
#3. Washington Capitals - With great scorers all around this team might have hit the jackpot this season. They have young and talented players and they also have key vetereans a team would need to succeed. They're defense could need some improvement, but hey who needs defense when you got offense, or should I say when you got Alex the Great. They're first two offensive lines are probably the most entertaining ones too. As the net-minder they have Thomas Vokoun who can do what a gaoltender does best, stop shots. This is what the NHL fans have been waiting for for all these years, a very exciting hockey club to watch.
#2. Atlanta Thrashers - Let's all face it, this team has come a long way from last season. With a new GM, this team has taken a turn for being one of the best teams the league will know in a few years. They have all the time in the world to win a Stanley Cup. With the additions of Wilson, Pietrangelo and goaltender Stari from the Draft and with Lecalaier and Gionta leading the way the fans of Atlanta will all remember this team as one of the best ever in franchise history if the Atlanta GM manages to keep these five stars for as many as 7 years. The fans will be very pleased to know how well Atlanta will do this season.
#1.Boston Bruins and Buffalo Sabres
Boston - Last year, they secured the final spot of the playoffs by finishing 8th in the Eastern Conference. This year they have promised they're fans a Stanly Cup and by looking at they're roster we can all agree on that. With Two rookies to add to they're collection this team has gotten better. They have two great first Lines both offensively and Defensivley. With lots of young talent, I see there to be no reason why Bruins fans wouldnt want to watch they're games this season.
Buffalo - This team is STACKED. But that doesnt mean they'll win every game. They will win a lot of games but In the Playoffs they're luck will finally run out as it did last year(It does every time I sim on NHL 08). But as for the fans they will enjoy the watching the Sabres as Connolly puors on points for the Sabres. With great Defense and outstanding Forwards and not to mention Lundqvist in Net(young and entertaining alomst as much as Hasek and Theo) this team is gonna be one of the most entertaining ones in a while.
These are the 5 most entertaiing teams for the 2008-2009 season(Thats what I believe so if you disagree thats your problem).
