Their have been some GMs that have been throwing around names of players in trade proposals that they do not even have!
If you did not re-sign a guy he is a free agent! (You still have some time).

Use this site to find out who is a free agent on your team. If there is an "UFA" or "RFA" in the 08/09 salary category of your team the player is a free agent. (unless you re-signed him).
You can trade the signing rights of players like Toronto did with Sundin but this must be stated.
Please try and organize your salary pages for the Free Agency period. The new cap is 53.5 million! Organize your Free Agents from players under contract.
