On the Jagr front, it is assumed that several teams (Washington, Pittsburgh, Rangers, Tampa, Boston, Flyers) have expressed interest, but the Penguins are clearly the most obvious choice for Jaromir's signing. The Bruins could use his leadership up front.
Wirtinen out? It looks as if the Tampa Bay Lightning were requested to buy out Wirtinen on behalf of his agent. Wirtinen, after signing a 4 year 7M dollar per annum NMC two weeks ago has since regretted his signing and is looking for a way out via buyout. He does not seem to have an interest in leaving the club until the club pays for its reckless lack of respect towards the recent addition. This could be yet another chapter of the terrible player - management relations in the sunshine state.

What I think is funny about this is Jagr wasn't even contacted by Pittsburgh when this was posted. Yet, ironically, that is where he ended up signing....
