3 Players from the KHL got fed up with their teams refusing to sign major free agent names for the upcoming season and have thus decided to move on from the league and join ManNHL.
Martin Straka - Formerly of the Tampa Bay Lightning, left the Roman Torpedoes last night after an argument with the owner of the club, Alex Vardrumev, over the franchise not making an effort to sign local prodigy defenseman Igor Tallsbrouck, a 23 year old physical defenseman who is league known for his punishing hits and glass shattering slap shot.
In response to the non-signing after the club was approached by Tallsbrouck, the young rookie has also decided to walk away from the KHL and see what ManNHL has to offer for his services. "I come to North America for great game and show my hitting, yes?" It looks as though other players have also joined the 2 in leaving the KHL.
Ray Neoldfield arrived early yesterday in the wake of significant offers from multiple teams in ManNHL and he is expected to make his decision by the weekend.
In light of Ray leaving the Sydney Crosbies, Viktor Hedman found the club to be below average and has decided to return to ManNHL and join his draft team, Phoenix Coyotes, for the upcoming season. He's expected to join the club sometime next week, but won't be available for the first few games.
