POWER RANKINGS
1-Philadelphia Flyers-With the Lecavlier joining this team, and most of its team from last year still intact the cup is not a dream anymore.
2-Boston Bruins-The defending cup champions still very good but they traded away there top center in Bergereon.
3-Pittsburgh Penguins- Have added Zetterberg and Bergeron, and Jagr will be playing a full season and have very good depth with good goaltending and they will be a fun team to watch with GAGNE as a 2nd liner thats how good they are but thats on paper. Will they click?
4-Phoenix Coyotes- Added a great goalie and a superstar in Maruleau, there younger players are more experienced and have a very good defencive core even though Hedman isnt there.
5-Toronto MapleLeafs- Will they be like last year and choke? We say no with a very good defence and offensive core only goaltending will be a question mark.
6-Colorado Avalanch- Still a good team, but getting to old.
7-St Louis Blues- Have most of there team intact from last year and younger players got a year better
8-Washington Capitals- Spezza and Oveckin will light it up.
9- Edmonton Oilers- The darkhorse team from last year went all the way to the cup the GM is a genouis
10-Nashville Predators- Have finally aqquired someone to play with marian hossa in derek roy.
11-LA Kings- Traded away Spezza and Turco but they needed a change.
12-Ottawa Senators- Hesmkey is in and the circus of Gaborick is gone look for a better Sens team with a NEW GM.
13-New Jersey Devils-
14-San Jose Sharks- Crosby and Malkin CANNOT do it all.
15-Anaheim Ducks- One of the worst team last year, but they have GOD( LUONGO) on there side.
16-Vancouver Canucks- Traded away Marleau and Ohlund look for them to fight for a playoff spot.
17-Calgary Flames- The mighty have fallen not much as changed and look for them to possibly miss the playoffs this spring.
18-Detroit Red Wings-
19- Buffalo Sabers- Heatley and Connoly will they take Buffalo into the promise land?
20-Chicago Blackhawks- They are not as good as last year but Kane and Nash will be a very good 1st line.
21-Atlanta Thrashers-
22-Columbus Blue Jackets- Yet again a 1 line team.
23-Dallas Stars- Need a top player to carry them.
24-Carolina Hurricanes- The GM is dead.
25-Tampa Bay Lighting- Look for changed with the hiring of the new GM
26-Minnesota Wild- there a young team and everything looking up they could be the suprise team.
27-.NY Islanders - Dont know much about the new gm but he is looking to trade Diepetro.
28-.New York Rangers- Need change.
29-Florida Panthers- Another typical panthers season upcoming
30-Montreal Canadians- Au Revoir, Montreal will compete but for the 1st overall pick
