At the end of each sim month, which we are now at, we will have a SUPER SERIES WEEKEND.
Here's how it goes:
In this thread, I want you to post who you want to have a best of 7 game series against. You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but if your team has been called upon, you will be a part of the series.
Teams can not be called out in two different series'. If the team you wanted to play against has already been challenged, you must select a new team. Teams have until tonight at midnight to challenge an opponent. Simmin could begin as early as tonight.
Here's the breakdown.
If Toronto and Pittsburgh do a series, and Pittsburgh had only one goal against in 4 games, sweeping the series, his GAA will be 0.25
If all other series' contains a winner with more than a 0.25 Goals Against Average, Pittsburgh has one the prize.
This makes things interesting cause no longer are you challenging teams that you only have a rivalry with, you're also trying to win the prize on this site by challenging teams you think are terrible compared to you. This will inevitably spark that much more rivalries within this site, hopefully lol.
Here's what you're competing for:
Team with the Lowest GAA: Trade Mod for a month and a league granted 2nd round pick.
Team with the Most Goals For: Awarded advanced notice on Trade Rumors on behalf of Eklund, and a 2nd round pick.
I hope you see how beneficial information and draft picks can be for your club. If you win the pick, you must write it into your Draft Picks page stating: "2nd round pick (League Granted)"
Also, winners will get their own thread in the Awards Section on the site.
The Prizes will be changing from month to month as the Super Series continues.
