Caps name Alex Ovechkin captain

With the recent departure of Captain Chris Clark to the sunshine state, The Washington Capitals organization are proud to name Alexander Ovechkin the teams new Captain. We feel he has matured at a great pace and is enjoying yet another great year and it is time to pass the C to our player of the future. An alternate captain will still be Steve Eminger and Alexander Semin will take over the A that Ovechkin had before neing promoted to Captain.

We are also giving Alex UTC status. He is now untouchable and will not be traded.

Do you think there is a slight chance he would be traded??Like if Anahiem(if they still have these players offer) Pronger and Selanne/gigure then you would take it correct?

and to Ovechkin-What are you going to try and acomplish now that you are the Captain?
