Despite all trade rumors the Columbus Blue Jackets have announced that Rick Nash is going to be the new Captain.

GM's statement: "Rick Nash is one of the most exciting young players in the game. Although the team has struggled so far this year, Rick Nash is having an All-Star year and we feel without him this team would be even worse. We expect Rick to one day carry this organization to the Cup."

Rick and the G.M. (me) are open to questions.
