I've gotta say, I'm a little fucking pissed with this guy. He's selfish for not allowing the Leafs to rebuild while he leaves for 2 months of his career and returns to a team he made better by allowing himself to be used as an asset to build the team into contenders. A place where his heart lies, that's bullshit.l If he truly cared about this team, he would've allowed them to use him as a tool, and provide more for the leafs in one trade than he has for them in his 13 year tenure with the club. Thanks for nothing.

I agree with you 100% aswell.. If Sundin plays another year. He might not and then he'd end his career on a team hes only played for for 2 months.

I mean, what has he accomplished in a Leafs uniform? NOTHING. In 13 YEARS, HE'S DONE FUCK ALL. No Cups, No Finals, zilch, nada. What a selfish fucking european. Playing for the money, and not for the gold. Why would anyone want a player like that on their club? He went from making a decision that would've made him the most memorable Leafs captain in history, to a god damn bum who's only in it for himself, and not his team. Fuck you Sundin for the nothing you've ever done for the Leafs. A sport that has proven itself to no longer be a sport, but a giant god damn business.

I agree with you too there Thrashy, but for a guy who claims he bleeds blue and white, he certainly doesn't give a fuck about the team when he won't even leave for 6 weeks in order to boost the club to becoming an even better team as early as next season. Bleeding blue and white my fucking ass...

Honestly, I hate the leafs. But I'll admit they have run into so much bad luck over the last few years. Blake underperformed, Raycroft underperformed, Toskola started sketchy, McCabe in general, and now Sundin not helping..

Precisely Bruins. And I'm a die hard Leafs fan, and I'm borderline ready to discontinue my fanaticism for this club. I've been following them for 15 god damn years, and nothing has come out of it except for bullshit trades, mistakes after mistakes in management situations, and now selfish players.
Fletcher met with McCabe, Tucker, Kaberle, Kubina and Sundin today, all of which said they aren't moving.
McCabe said he's consider if the right team in the East would give a good offer. I'd tell all of them to go home, that their services are no longer needed.
And the shittiest part is that they'll probably go on some fucking big winning streak and finish just outside the playoffs... AGAIN... and get a pick after the top 10. Fucking Great.

I hate the leafs as well, but I do find TML has a point. He's a good point producer, yes, but has not accomplished shizz all for them. I'd love to go to a Detroit or Anaheim, and let my team get some damn good assets with who'd I'd be able to play with next year because there is a 0 chance of him going anywhere else. JFJ is NOT at all at blame for giving Sundin a NTC, he, IMO, is the only leaf MAYBE along with Kaberle that deserves one.
Best scenario at the deadline is Rangers acquire McCabe for Malik (essentially a rental since his contract is up soon) and a pick or so along with Jason Blake hitting the road, where I can see him go is Dallas with Mike Modano. Make a nice 1-2 American punch and give Modano a winger he needs.
