Pros: - allows for WAY more trade options and creativity - enhances sense of realism - people have asked for it, and clearly want it in their ManNHL experience!
Cons (from my 4 years experience with sim sites - not made up bullshit) - Teams trade players to their real-life friends for the playoffs for "future considerations" then take them back after the season. - teams cannot agree on a "future consideration" and arguments ensue - another thing that people have to keep track of.
There are more, but these are the big ones. If we agree VIPs only, the you must be a VIP to do it, meaning in time, when people earn VIP status, they will have earned the credibility to trade future considerations as a reward for good service. To be honest, I am not a fan of this solution, but it solves one or two of the above "cons".
Vote away people. AND DO VOTE. Its important.

Why is everyone so against it??? Is it really that confusing?? Because people will most likely forget it and also, it would get quite complicated.

Have it so it's noted on both teams rosters, add some guidelines to it and it becomes a simple process.

Agreeing on what those 'futures' makes it hard. Trading a future-for-player deal is much easier than doing a player-for-player deal, and picking a player to finalize a future deal becomes too complicated.
I'm against it.
