With a lot of trades in the Mist I the one and only trade whisperer is going to go in depth and get ya exclusive interviews with the players and talk over these trades.
The First trade is the one I'm calling the steal deal for the leafs it involves Valterri Filppula and second in 2015 for Jarome Iginla and second in 2015, The only advantage for Montreal is the 2nd in 2015 but what was Montreal thinking he should have kept his second in 2015.
We asked Filppula his thought on this trade and Filppula said "I believe the Toronto Maple Leafs and it organization and GM knows what their doing and if trading me to improve the club further is an option for them then that's great for the club.
A positive review from Filppula but not such a positive one from Jarome Iginila here what he had to say. I was just traded from the Pens to Montreal, it may be too soon to move for me and a part of the reason I moved to Montreal because of the package including my former pens teammates I personally don't know why the Canadiens Gm would negotiate a trade for me so soon after my move What is he Thinking..
Now on to the big second trade named Three-way from hell, In this trade the Montreal Canadiens receive Henrik Zetterberg from blues Dwight King from leafs DAN ELLIS from leafs The Blues receive Carey Price and Sergei Mozyakin from Montreal The Leafs receive Jaroslav Halak from Habs and Artemy Panarin.
The biggest blow and loss is to Montreal IMO does he even know how to GM a team? Losing god-like Price and not receiving a first alongside Halak what was Montreal thinking without Price his team is definitely going down, down, down.
The second loser is the Toronto Maple Leafs, although in first place and losing Ellis for Halak to pick up prospect Panarin is a plus, King is definitely not going to put up the numbers Panarin has been doing in the minors. Well see what the Leafs GM has planned for goal tending tho..
Now, the clear winner is definitely St Louis Blues obtaining Price without losing a pick and for Halak and Zetterburg for Mozyakin, Zetterberg hasn't been producing at Zetterberg levels in the last few seasons and he might just be on a hot streak.. Good job BLUES..
Although I should include interviews from player from this trade I'm definitely running out of time maybe next time folks..
