Instead of how we did it last year, the same point system will apply, but the ratings of the top players will be altered to make it fit that drafted players will not become an immediate league leading scorer even if drafted 29th overall.
We feel that in 3 years, going with the same system we have now, teams will have players who are rated in the high 80s on their 3rd and 4th lines.
This will keep the draft important, but will reduce the amount of rookie dominance, therefore making all other players obsolete.
UPDATE:
Likely the PR and I will be writing tiny biographies on the players in the draft this year. That means you'll be informed of what capabilities the player flourishes in as abilities. You will still be allowed to chose his position.
As for the "letting you know before the season" yeah, we talked about it last night and decided then and there that it was for the best. That being said, there is still possibilities of a player being created up to around an 87 to 89, possibly even a 90, but we just want to make it a bit more difficult.
As we did with the original rookies created, the players will improve over time.
