I'm looking at finishing this season off maintaining the status quo, and though my opinion is to maintain the status quo throughout, I am providing an option for those who feel the league is being run indequately.
Next year - a 41 game season.
The playoff format will remain the same.
Thoughts, Comments, Concerns?

You do it this way and I will have to step down as a GM here. We need stats to know how our guys are doing. Simming isnt about speed. Its about being consistent. People look for a minimum of 2 days being simmed daily (easily done....i do 2 to 3 days every day in mine). If you dont do it, you lose members. If you take odd nights off, people also leave.
Anyways, I put a lot of effort into my team here but i am prepared to leave if you go ahead with this new plan.
You wanted this league to be similar to real NHL. It was going that way and then it all of a sudden stopped, we had a super series weekend and now we are told that the league is shorter than real life and only scores posted. Sorry dude, but this aint real if its like this.
So, I await your decision.

I don't see the problem with shortnening the season to 41 games. i understand the game results, but if you're finding out on a monthly basis what everyone's points are on your team, then what's the problem? i get your point, but at the same time, just because you're not shown who scored at that time, and are provided with the stats later, is that not saving YOU the hassle?

If we wait for a month for updates in stats, thats almost a quarter of the season gone before we know whether to trade a guy.
Seriously dude, its no good. You think people are leaving fast now, this idea of a shortened, less stats, etc season will fold the league. You heard it here first.

Not really, because trading keeps a league active.
If the stats are only posted once a month, that means there wont be the normal active trading going on all the time but a surge of trading once a month
I understand that u are busy, and are trying to save time, but to be honest this might be the wrong way to go about it.
Sim one or 2 nights with stats, every other day. and if you have the time, throw in a sim or two extra.
But I see Gm's getting board without trading and that MIGHT lead to inactivety, whihc leads to others unhappy because there is noone on.
See what Im getting at?

" is that not saving YOU the hassle?" is what you wrote. i dont get this at all. WHAT hassel is it to see how your guys are doing to make informaed decisions to trade or keep guys? Thats how we are GMs man. And its also what determines the PA as to which direction they want to go with negotiations.

I'm not fighting, I'm just giving my full opinion on it. People are complaining that it's not being simmed fast enough, and this was my answer to that. If the majority say no, I'll reconsider and continue as is.

we haven't had a regular season sim in like 4 days...THATS why people are complaining.
I dont think the super series thing was the best thing for a young league IMO

Thats 2 differnt things completly. One is gm's want the season over with, the other is gm's wanting to see how there teams are doing |

and I'd rather watch my team than skip past it. I've had 3 teams pm me for faster simming, and this is what I can provide, otherwise it'll be every night on monday to wednesday night, sometimes weekends, being simmed, and if i go a few days without simming, expect a major amount of games to be posted next time, as that's usually how i make up for me going home on weekends.

And now the unfortunate thing is that so many leagues are popping up and leaving just as fast. I thought this one, due to the format, was a winner and would last. I know you are just throwing this possibility of how the season will go, but it really puts question marks in people's heads because it feels like your heart may not be into going the extra mile. I may be perceiving this entirely wrong, which i hope i am, but it doesn't feel good right now.

No no, I'm just providing options. This is one. All I'm asking is if people are interested in going to a 41 game season next year. This year, I will continue to post games with all stats etc. as I'm seeing that my most valuable members prefer to maintain the status quo. I'm fine either way, but I don't want people to lose interest because they want simming every minute of every day. If I knew a faster way, I'd use it trust me, but you'll have to accept how it's moving right now.
So, 41 game season, yes or no?

82 in NHL. Again, if people want it faster, I cant be a part of it. Doesnt make sense to me then.
